Second Chance K9 is a nonprofit that donates high drive, military breed, service dogs to veterans who suffer from PTSD. These military type dogs were bred to work, they need constant stimulation and physical activity. These dogs give Veterans who have lost all motivation and will to interact with society a reason to leave the house. These dogs provide stability, reliability, and confidence to their handlers. They give these veterans a reason to get up in the morning, a sense of familiarity, and a partner that they can rely on.
Second Chance K9 is a small nonprofit, because of this we have very scrict guidelines. We only donate service dogs to Veterans from the Special Operations who struggle with PTSD.
